Firefly funs!! I cannot wait for the movie.

Since the cancellation of 'Farscape', I thought I would never find any TV show I would like as much.

Well, when I went to see a movie about a week ago, here came a trailer of 'Serenity'. It looks very different from any other typical Scifi blockbuster...

Thus I found TV series 'Firefly'.
Oh, I am in love with the Character 'Capt. Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds'.
He was so cute in the episode called 'heart of gold'.

Is there any fan of this series?

I think I cannot link the movie web site since that is commercial.
I bet lots of people gonna love this show.

Cannot believe I missed it.
Actually, there were several TV shows at UPN I loveed. Well all of I loved were canceled.

Still, even compared to those, Firefly is just so good.
Do you think some people did not like the idea of 'Companion'?

It looks great. That show getting cancelled was just a tragedy, it was awesome and could have been one of the all-time great sci-fi series. Jane especially was such a great character!

Fox screwed that show royally, but I'm glad to see that its getting a secod shot in the theatres. It's just a shame that Fox is standing its ground and won't let the series resume filming.

They cancel almost all their good shows.

Firefly was awesome. Hopefully ABC or someone else will pick it up after the movie.

Firefly was a show about a group of good people doing the right thing in the face of a corrupt government and apathetic society. Such thoughts run contrary to the concept of Republican Obedience, therefore it had to die.

They gave it the worst timeslot they could find, didn't show a SINGLE commercial for it until HALFWAY through the season, ran the episodes out of order, ran the PILOT EPISODE at the END of the season(!!!), and then feigned suprise when it bombed in the ratings. They wouldn't have run it at all, except that they had a binding contract with Whedon to run three series in exchange for the Buffy franchise (Buffy, Angel, and Firefly). Unfortunatly for Whedon, his contract required them to run it, but didn't grant him any sort of control over how or where. They didn't want to run the series in the first place, so they did everything they could to torpedo the show as quickly as possible.

That said, I never got into Firefly all that much, but I did like it.
