Colors you hate
Any colors that completely turn you off?

Mine are pink--specifically, that horrid baby pink, and brown--the muddy color brown. I like hot pink, and dark browns are okay. Brown is overall my least favorite color. I also don't really care for pastels--give me bright, mostly primary colors, and I'm happy.

Where's the hippie icon?
:silly:

But you know, grey is kind of ugly. I have a lot of grey clothes, and I'm not entirely sure why.

7. Mauve
Reminds me of brains....

Specifically, I found a dead weasel in the woods. It had been dead a few days and was just starting to turn. I brought it home and stuck it in the freezer for 6 months. Then I cut off the head and boiled it. Then I stuck it back in the freezer for another 6 months. Then I buried it in the yard for a month. Then I boiled it some more. FINALLY I took my scalpel and cleaned out the head, using tweezers and q tips to pick out the brains.

Mauve.

Totally gross.

8. blue
plain old, run of the mill blue.
I love navy, turquoise, violet. All variations of blue, but not blue. I must have had a bad experience with blue when I was younger.

11. I hate orange.
I don't mind tans and ochres and things like that...neutrals for decorating and such.

But the bright color of the fruit, blegh. And it makes me look dead when I wear it. So definitely orange.

Especially when used as paint. Probably because I did a lot of :puke: when I was younger in a room with yellow walls and yellow-gold carpeting.

14. I can't say I hate any color
that's such a strong word, but I really don't like pink...I guess it just has to do with me not being a girly girl. However on the rare times that I do wear it, I get compliments on how good it looks on me. Go figure a color that I can't stand looks really flattering on me!

17. Teal. Remember when teal was popular?
Early to mid nineties?

Teal was actually my prom color.

It's funny, I used to remember thinking back then that people in the seventies must have been really fucking stupid for liking those ugly browns and oranges and yellows. Then there I was liking teal.

It amazed me, but Tarantino seemed to make yellow work in "Kill Bill". I've never liked it in almost any other context.

Anyone with a yellow automobile that isn't a cab needs to be forced off a cliff.

22. No, it really depends on where the color is
and what colors are around it. I wouldn't want a hot pink living room but a hot pink shirt is alright. But an entire hot pink outfit would be way too much.

23. I was going to ask, "How can I HATE a COLOR?" Colors are,
after all, pretty inanimate things, and as such shouldn't be able to provoke such strong feelings.

But then I remembered how much I detested our house being painted beige, and how happy I was when we repainted it blue.

Beige. Yuck.

And all Pepto Bismol ever did was make my barf a bright color...

Bleah.

actually makes me want to vomit. I have this weird thing about associating color with food. Like pink and purple makes think of chocolate.
