I've realized I am one unmotivated S.O.B

I have a band coming into the studio tomorrow and I have to get it ready. I have been sitting here since I have come home from work and not done anything. I need to get down there, but just can't get off my ass.
And to top it off, it is cool down there and not hot and sticky like it is up here. I need help..LOL.

But I am really low on cash. I have been reading some sites on recording drums all day. I am gonna go with 4 mics instead of close mics this time. Reading the "technical" stuff helps to motivate me a bit.

The studio is down my stairs..LOL. Don't get the wrong idea. I actually have separate rooms, sliding doors, glass windows..the whole thing. It's not really a basement.
But, I do have a cool drink.
