Edited on Fri Jul-22-05 09:14 PM by Jack_Dawson
and did I mention humid? Again, not DEEP SOUTH humid, but humid as hell for this place. I was in Houston last week and, well...hats off to the Deep South.

Oh and...my A/C is broke. Embrace Summer!

1. How humid is it in SoCal? I'm in NE GA and it is hot as hell in daytime.
The one good thing is that we have no rain forcasted until Wednesday evening/afternoon. I don't think we've gone 36 hours without rain (T-storms) in about 2 months. We are SOGGY and MILDEWED and grumpy. Temps in the 90s each day with humidity you can wear. Damn. I am so happy: no rain so I can get hay for my horse. The hay farmers can't harvest hay without 2-3 days of dry weather.

BTW, I love SoCal. My good friend lived in LA on San Vicente in the North Hollywood/Beverly/Sunset area. She lived at the interection of Melrose and San Vicente. Very cool! Thanks for the props to the deep south! We are usually getting slammed by everyone. One must have true fortitiude to survive a summer in GA!

Turn on a fan or two, move slowly and drink iced tea in the shade. Ahh! :hi:

4. I WISH! It would be at least 20 degs cooler there.
I live in La Mesa, America's most boring city, and work right in the heart of the Cajon-Zone.

In a couple of months I'll be moving to OB. The bluest area of SD!

9. As I told maveric the other day
you guys are soft. One day in Northeast humidity would do you in. He should know-he grew up in MA! Though 101 degrees is hot even without humidity!
