Bad copycat, but I'm amazed it hasn't been done yet.

Edited on Sat Jul-23-05 12:41 PM by Zuni
he wore these shoes all the time that he wore to work and he was a cook

one time, the smell of his feet permeated my apartment for 2 days it was awful. Finally he got more shoes and the problem was (mostly) over

:scared:

12. little kids wear those slip on KEDs in the summer time and
they get wet and they sour, like mildew. The honest sweaty foot merges with the moldy sour shoe smell and you get toxic foot syndrome!!!!!!!!

I remember those days well, my daughter used to go through several pairs of those cheap things every summer because I would toss them when they got that gym bag smell thing going on.

Think of a load of soured laundry, spiced up with a little sweat.

11. my father's feet absolutely reeked. .....
and the cats absolutely loved to dive into his work shoes.

He had an excuse, though: he was severely frostbitten in the Battle of the Bulge in WWII, came justthisclose to losing a foot actually. It made his feet severely vulnerable to fungus infections and irritations of all kinds, and his feet were extremely sweaty. He could only wear white cotton socks, except for a couple of hours a week for church, when he would wear dark sox with his dress shoes.

Anyway, his poor feet would sweat and actually stain his sox, and definitely smelly.
