2. I've watched it on and off today.
When I was little, I used to have a crush on Michael.

4. I've seasons 1-3 on DVD and I don't have cable. :-(
Not sure on buying season 4 though... John Amos and Esther Rolle made the show; with season 1 being the best. Once he left, things changed for the worse. (she left too, for the same reason: that twerp Jimmy Walker, whose character truly is a wet ponce that only grates on the nerves of the unfortunate viewer! He was seen as funny?! He had his moments of heroism, definitely, and even some great lines at times, but even back then he was WAAAAAAAAAY overrated. His future career proves it... )

5. I couldn't stand him either.
I don't know if I'm going to watch the episodes at 10:00 and 10:30. Those are the episodes when John Amos's character was killed off the show. I don't like watching those episodes.

7. I consider that story to be the finale, even though it's the premiere of
the 4th season. I remember it being very emotional.

8. Watching now ...

I was out earlier and actually came home so I could watch the the episodes involving James' death. Hadn't seen this in ages.
