Just for the hell of it, It's not too far from me, and it'll give me something to do tomorrow (since my original plan of shooting more zoo photos is shot until next weekend since the lens won't be back until then :().

and I loved it. I never saw the original with Gene Wilder so I can't compare the two. I am sure it will be great seeing it at Imax. The visual effects are pretty good.

I saw a Rolling Stones concert on the Imax a few years back in New Orleans. I bet you will really dig it. Have fun.

It should be really cool in IMAX. I saw this one and the previous one. Loved them both for different reasons. This is typical Tim Burton, real eye candy. Enjoy it and let us know what you thought of it.

I'm not going to Imax, I decided to see it at the local Showcase Cinemas instead. . . it's playing on their biggest screen so that's good, plus it's cheaper :).
If I like it, I'll invest in the drive and the cash for Imax ticket later.
