Aren't "skirts" COMFORTABLE? Trousers were invented for riding horses -- otherwise few men in the world ever wore them. Most men, even now, are letting their tackle dangle comfortably in a type of skirt.

A DUer above mentioned the sarong -- one might also mention the Indian dhoti, and kaftans from Morocco and Egypt. Personally I find them very sexy. Men with long legs -- oh, they look very sexy in wrapped garments.

Liam Neeson certainly put the kilt on the fashion map -- he looked so manly in Rob Roy -- and you're looking pretty handsome yourself.

Wrapped garments flatter just about every kind of body type, male or female -- it's a pity the West has adopted uncomfortable trousers which only look attractive on slim body types.

8. My husband would agree with you.

About 3 years ago I made a kilt for my husband. He loves it. It took me about a month to make. I did not use a pattern and I sewed 8 yards of wool by hand. It was the first article of clothing I have ever made. I am quite proud of my creation. I went into a saddle shop and the guy there made me 3 leather buckle straps that hold it together at the waist and hips. Since it is wool and it is not lined, he does have to wear something under it. And it is quite warm in the summer. I do want to make him a light weight summer one. He also likes to wear a sarong.

And anyone who has a problem with a man in a kilt should do a google image search on men in kilts. There are lots of manly men out there that I would not make fun of. I don't have a picture of him in his kilt but I will make sure I take one and pass it along to you.

Good for you! Men in kilts are hot.
