17. I spent a lot of time after the 04 election in the

more serious parts of DU. And to tell you the truth, I just wasn't in the mood for laughing....

I also had a very serious bout with illness, near death and what not, last year.....

So that added to my reluctance to stop in and say hello...

And then, I dropped in and the rest is history, so to speak......

On edit, this place is almost as good as the Daily show for wit, humor and just plain fun.....

The most interesting part of my illness was the psychosis I developed in the ICU. I was flying all over the place in my mind....

My MD use to ask me every day who the president was to see if I was any closer to reality...

When I croaked out, because I had a trac, the ass hole, he beamed at me and said you are getting better.........

25. I used to work intensive care, nights, and crazy patients were

often seen...And the question about the president was one of the ones we used to see if the patient was getting better! We also used to ask about the date, and like that. I don't miss it one little bit, either...

And you find me thoughtful, intriguing and provocative? Hmmm...I can get the first two, but provocative...that's a bit harder for me to grasp. Your thoughts, if you would be so kind! And if you'd like, of course! I see myself as pretty ordinary, actually...
