7. That is what we had late last summer
and the entire month of May here, with temps mostly in the 40's and a cold, light rain more days than not.

16. We're in the midst of an extreme drought....
The crops in the fields are stunted and the farmers are losing more money than usual. The state may apply for federal disaster funds to help them out.

14. No one is crying....
This is the first time in six years that the temperature in Chicago has topped 100 degrees. You may recall having read that in a similar heat wave 10 years ago here, more than 700 people -- mostly elderly and poor -- died from the heat because they could not afford air conditioning and had no one to check on them.

If you dislike the heat in Arizona, why live there?
