I've never had staples removed from my head, but I had some removed from my abdomen after gall bladder surgery a couple years ago. It was no big deal.

I had 10 removed from my stomach and didn't hardly feel it. They were in for 13 days.

Kind of a tickle but nothing that makes you hurt. It actually gave me goosebumps and made my back itch.
