But you did say that you couldn't believe Homer said that old people should be used for nutrients. And I merely replied that he's just a cartoon. Yes. the writers are satirists. One of my favorite satirical pieces is Jonathon Swift's piece justifying eating Irish babies to alleviate the Great Hunger in Ireland.
