main character from the graphic novel Transmetropolitan, by Warren Ellis & Darick Robertson...foulmouthed, chainsmoking, drug-abusing outlaw journalist...sort of a 23rd century Hunter S Thompson. Transmet is basically about his crusade to take down the evil, corrupt, psycopathic President. :)
