FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! (Sorry, but I have NO other word to desribe how PISSED OFF I am!)

OH COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, gods know there's no Queen fans outside of NY and LA! I swear, I picked the wrong day to stop doing speedballs.

They haven't play FloriDUH since 1978! Is it ANY wonder why this state SUCKS donkey scrotums! LACK OF GOOD CONCERTS! HELLO! (But rest ASSured, every shit "artist" from American Idol will play EVERY last market of the Scumshine State! Welcome to yuppie cocksucker republiCON dorko-ville!) What the hell was I supposed to do!? Ride my goddamn big-wheel all the way from Delray Beach to the Hollywood Sportotorium?! AT AGE 3! And, they ain't toured the USA since 1982! Hey! By then I was 8, I could have rode my BMX to Atlanta to see 'em! Hey, this IS FloriDUH, land of WEIRD SHIT, so, ya know, WHEN IN ROME...and Brian May didn't even play this g*ddamn state on his 1993 tour! Again, I could have gone all the way to Atlanta, just to see Brian do probably 45 minutes IF YOU WERE LUCKY, and then see GUNS AND BUTTFUUKUING ROSES! Now, whoever thought up THAT double bill SHOULD BE SHOT! WITH A BAZOOKA!!!!!
Typical GNR fan: "Isn't this guy from that fag band?"
Yeah, probably the same promoter who thought "I KNOW! LET'S HAVE ICE T AND BODY COUNT OPEN FOR GNR!" Oh GOD!

So if anyone can find an email address for Queen & Pual Rodgers's booking agent, please email it to me, so I can post it EVERYWHERE, and encourage everyone to send them a dozen or so emails a day until they goddamn play Florida! I WILL NOT REST UNTIL THEY DO!

1. They need to play Texas too.
I saw Paul Rodgers back in '84 I think when he played with Jimmy Page in The Firm. I never had the chance to see Queen but followed them from the late 70s on...

2. Paul Rogers? Ugh. What a horrible choice for Queen.
Not a dig at Paul Rogers at all. He's a great white blues rock singer and I love Free and Bad Company. But anyone replacing Freddie Mercury needs to have a more flamboyant voice and style. Queen and the bands Rogers has been in are almost total polar opposites. I'll be honest I would even think the earlier names being bandied about such as George Michael and/or Robbie Williams would have been better choices.

4. At this point...
...I'd settle for John Deacon doing "Another One Bites The Dust" and "If You Can't Beat 'Em" solo on the bass!

12. I'm not crazy about Paul Rodgers doing this either, but....
George Michael isn't a ROCK singer, and Robbie Williams doesn't have the talent to fill a thimble.

5. Not as Queen & Paul Rodgers...
...but Queen did until 1982. It was cuz of the AIDS scare that (ironically) made Freddie to say no to touring the USA for "The Works" & "A Kind Of Magic". UGH.

6. I'd rather see William Hung in concert than this travesty
And believe me, I recognize that Freddie Mercury is no longer here and he would have wanted them to continue on.

But why the hell are they bastardizing themselves with Paul Rodgers? Both Rodger Taylor and Brian May are talented singers and many of the songs on the Queen albums have one of them as Lead Vocals.

I would have paid big dollars to see Taylor/May doing Queen. I won't pay 2 cents to see Bad Company do Queen songs

10. But there is
There are plenty of songs done by May & Taylor that they could do in concert like "I'm in Love with My Car", "Sheer Heart Attack", "'39", "Sleeping on the Sidewalk" etc. They could easily do the concert on their own merits and not have brought Paul Rodgers in as lead.

I've always loved Taylor & May's voice and some of my favorite songs (Drowse, Some Day One Day) are not song by Freddie Mercury

11. Someone correct me if I'm wrong:
I believe Queen is the only rock quartet (or even trio) whose every member solely composed at least one American or British Top 40 hit (Roger Taylor, the drummer, wrote "Radio Ga-Ga").

15. I think you're right...
...and for a good while, Roger held the record for most listened to internet broadcasted concert, it was something like half a million people! And mind you, this was I think 1998! So it wasn't like DSL & wireless were everywhere, etc and so on.

And I'd rather hang myself on the oak tree out back than see William Hung! OY!

17. Remember the Concert for Life?
Brian and Roger both sang at one point...they were straining to hit their notes, and that was how long ago?

Give Paul a chance. He may surprise. But damn, I wish they were closer.
