5. I should be. I celebrated Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights!
Whew! I had to recover yesterday. Can't hang like I used to.

2. Actually that's pretty smart.
The reason that spicier foods are more popular near the equator is because they make you sweat, and sweating keeps you cool.

11. Good thing we have air conditioners to keep us cool.
The heat index here is 108 degrees.

3. Yes
you may as well have a real hot cup of coffee too. Or better yet, a cup of hot chocolate. Nah, I'm just kidding. Enjoy your chili.

8. Spicy is the KEY
We are making a batch of spicy chicken with jalapenos, cilantro and tomatoes from the garden. It will make quite the tasty burrito in a few hours!!!

12. Had chili for dinner on Friday
My partner the cook likes it a lot but he also just wanted to screw with his co-workers on Monday. "You made chili? In this heat?? How can you stand that???" I'm sure he just smiled enigmatically at them.

13. You have some cold beers to counteract the hot chili, don't you?
:-)

You're more adventurous than I....that's the last thing I'd want on days like this.

14. My hubby keeps beer in the fridge. He likes to get one
after work every now and then. I figure it is no different than eating Mexican or something else spicy (Of course it is best when eaten on a cold winter day). I may pay for it later though!
