Regarding her ear: Charley is semi-feral. We intend to let her out from time to time, if she wants to go. If she gets away and reverts to feral life, she's already pre-ear-tipped. Ear tipping is done in feral colonies; it tells the colonists "this cat has already been spayed/neutered." With education, in my colony it will also tell the neighbors "this cat will not have kittens under your house."

I lost her all too soon. But we fought the good fight and she was an amazing little being throughout the whole thing. How many cats do you know who'd not only tolerate acupuncture, but just fall asleep? I debated whether to add the sad smiley, but I had to be honest. It's still tough for me to face. I realized my incredible good fortune from that very first day, when she did a delicate little leap out of her carrier and into my life. And I would have done anything to keep her. She was the cat of a lifetime. My Rhiannon.

He only has two teeth, due to severe stomatitis (periodontal disease). So when he's relaxing, that's a typical look for him.

I didn't want to disturb him more by using a flash or turning on more lights, so that's why the pic is so dark. I think it's funny that all you see is tongue and part of an eye. :D

My husband took some eyeglasses of one our goddaughters' dolls and tried them on Ginger. It seems our boy's claws are lots sharper when he's unwillingly sportin' specs. :rofl: He looked pretty cute but we learned our lesson.
