Purple Heart Gimmick Used In "Wedding Crasher's" Gets Web Site In Trouble
<snip>

DENVER -- You won't find that printable Purple Heart on the Web site anymore for the "Wedding Crashers" movie.

Producers have taken it off after complaints from Colorado Rep. John Salazar.

In the film, two characters, played by Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, use the Purple Heart medals to pick up women and to get people to buy drinks for them.

But advocates for a bill introduced by Salazar say it's no joke because impostors also use the fake medals or fraudulent stories of medals to get ahead in business.

Wearing, manufacturing, buying, selling or trading a Medal of Honor is a crime. Salazar's Stolen Valor Act would expand the law to include more medals and would allow prosecution of anyone who falsely claims to have earned a military medal or a Purple Heart.

6. Yes. Remember the fat old hag at the Repug convention?
Wearing a bandaid on her fourth chin that had some sort of mocking comment about Kerry on it.

7. How odd. The creators of a very silly movie....
Show more sensitivity than the Red White & Blue Republicans.

(Not that there's anything wrong with silly movies. I'd rather watch Airplane than Citizen Kane.)

5. Get a life people!
That movie is about the funniest movie I've seen in years. There's enough in it to offend just about anybody - and it's all hilarious.

I was a wedding crasher once.

I was the date of the bride's sister. I had just broken up with the Maid of Honor. And another bridesmaid and I were the last ones dancing (and making out) on the dance floor.
