1. Dell would sell FreeBSD (whoops, Mac OS X) too.
So, yeah, you'd be evil if you got to that point.

They all bribe donate to pukes anyway.

4. Actually, I still consider myself a Mac loyalist, believe it or not.

I had a good Mac in the mid 90's. It was a Quadra 630. It had 8MB RAM and a 300 MB hard drive. Oh yeah, and a 4x CD-ROM. I did more with that gem than most PCs. I really switched out of financial necessity. I bought a Gateway in 1998, and three years later (on Christmas!!) my hard drive tanked, along with my motherboard.

In 2004, I bought a Dell. As far as PCs go, Dell does good work. They have suspect tech support (the tech guys are great but the phone operators are like robots). Like I said, it's good, but no Mac.

I've mainly held off because I was waiting to buy an affordable Mac. Thank God for the iMac. I've been a backslider for too long. I'm really considering returning to the fold.

5. I just bought my first Mac about 2 weeks ago.
I have a Dell and a Mac now. I bought the Mac because I couldn't stand the thought of putting all that money into a red company's hands. However, I wouldn't judge anyone else if they felt that they couldn't do this. (Disclosure: I voted that you were evil, but I was just joking! :))
