PPT: "Pray as lawmakers research the background of Judge John Roberts"

http://www.presidentialprayerteam.org/

Pray for the confirmation process as lawmakers research the background of Judge John Roberts. President Bush took time to get acquainted with nominee Roberts during early morning coffee on Wednesday of this week. Photo courtesy of the White House.

Give thanks for President Bush's decision to nominate Judge John G. Roberts to the U.S. Supreme Court, asking God to guide and bless Chair Arlen Specter and the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee as they begin hearings in late August or early September. Ask God to lead them into His will for the Court and our nation. Give thanks for the speedy developments in the nominating process and pray the confirmation will be dignified and orderly as President Bush has requested.

Pray for the President as on Thursday, July 21 he addresses a local Washington audience on CAFTA; on Friday, July 22 he meets with senior citizens in Atlanta, GA on the Medicare prescription drug bill and Social Security; and on Sunday, July 24, he hosts the next White House T-ball game, a meeting of two Challenger Little League teams.

Pray for the end of insurgency in Iraq as well as terror around the world, asking God to powerfully intercede with His strength and might. Pray for an uprising of godly intercession to call on the Lord to defeat those who would bring evil on innocent victims.

4. this is pathetic!
> "Pray for the President as on Thursday, July 21 he addresses a
> local Washington audience on CAFTA;"

yeah, right...pray for CAFTA so we can allow big, greedy corporations to exploit the people and destroy the environment in third world countries. sounds like something jesus would really like.

> on Friday, July 22 he meets with senior citizens in Atlanta, GA on
> the Medicare prescription drug bill and Social Security;

another good one....they want to pray that god allows chimpy to pull the wool over seniors' eyes while he privatizes social security so his friends can raid it. and, pray that the seniors will have to pay even more for prescription medicine.

> and on Sunday, July 24, he hosts the next White House T-ball game,
> a meeting of two Challenger Little League teams.

yes, this is very important to pray about.

these fundies are morons. there's an illegal war going on and they want to pray for Chimpy McAWOL's t-ball game.

7. Yes, unfortunately...this is not satire.
They also have an "e-card" you can send. It's done in Macromedia Flash...animated soft transitions from photo to photo, with hypnotic "new age-style" piano accompaniment.

These are the screenshots I made and posted on DU a couple of weeks ago. The overwhelming reaction was "Are you kidding"...but the PPT nutcases take this stuff seriously. They do believe that Bush is God's Little Chosen Prince.

9. Dear God, please take this son of yours, this evil imbecile fuck, home
to be with you where you can retrain him and send him back to Earth to spend some time as vaginal wart cream, and rid us of his evil presence so that the world may turn around and continue progressing forward toward your kingdom of peace and infinite goodness and wellbeing. Amen.
