OJ Simpson Fined $25k For Stealing Satellite TV

MIAMI -- Former football star O.J. Simpson has a whopping cable bill.

A federal judge has ordered him to pay $25,000 for pirating satellite television signals from DirecTV.

The court granted a motion for summary judgment in a civil suit against Simpson.

In a raid on Simpson's Miami home in 2001, federal agents seized illegal devices known as "bootloaders" that authorities said were used to steal television programming.

Simpson's lawyer said the judge denied Simpson's right to a jury trial. The attorney said legal options are being considered.
