3. Yes, all the time.

One was some emergency money. Another was a TV remote. Whenever I forget where something's hidden I don't seem to find it until I'm looking for something totally unrelated.

4. Twelve jars of enamal for a crafts project. I found them seven years

later on the top of my stepson's closet when I was packing up his room. I know he didn't put them there. And I doubt that my husband did. So it had to have been me. But I can't remember why and I couldn't remember where within a few days of buying them. And I looked everywhere I would have logically put them. I'd never even taken them out of the store bag.

I sure hope that wasn't an early inicator of Alzheimers. :scared:

A couple of years ago I lost my bus money, and as I was contemplating my very very long walk ahead, I found a $5 bill on the sidewalk! Life is great like that sometimes.

18. One time

I went to a concert with friends. We needed 1 ticket and some smoke. As soon as we got there, a guy came up and gave us a promo ticket, and then we were walking away and I literally tripped over a bag of smoke. Tell me about it.:applause:

and that means I can hide it w/ the cleaning products and he'll never find it.

14. OH YES! Actually, I hadn't hidden the thing...I had just put it away...

in a perfectly logical place. But then I could NOT remember just where that logical place was, and I couldn't find my thing. Then, one day, I thought I'd try again to find it...and there it was. What was it? One of my little blank books that Iwrite snippets of poetry, clever sayings and the like in...I was so happy that I could not believe it.

15. I used to do it all the time...

with my drugs. I would often eat to many Valiums, smoke too much herb, eat too much acid, or drink to much whiskey ( or a combo of the above). I would hide money and drugs during my "trip" and would often not find them for days, even weeks.

I hid it because i thought somebody was going to steal it. Either he did, or I've hidden it so well nobody will ever find it.

19. A retractable dog leash.

Never found it, but I found lots of other crap I didn't even know was missing in the hunt for the misplaced leash.

I hid it so my little guy wouldn't take the cat for a "walk".
