What do you think of these buildings?
Are they works of art? Targets? What do you think?

At 1,667 feet, Taipei 101 tower in Taiwan is the world's tallest building.

At about 2,000 feet tall, the Fordham Spire would be the tallest building in the United States when all building elements are counted.

8. What other way would you design a skyscraper? Seems to me
it almost has to resemble that organ...

24. You're probably right
but those are definitely too high for my taste. Especially after spending 15 years in SoCal, many of them in skyscrapers during earthquakes. *shudder*

25. Amen to that!
I much prefer canyons surrounding me. Zion is good enough, though; don't need Grand Canyon. :)

6. I like them.
The Taipei 101 is a little out of place, with no competition whatsoever. The Fordham Spire looks like it will be really beautiful. But I'm a fan of big building and futuristic architecture.

18. The Fordham Spire looks like a giant Xmas tree icicle to me...
they certainly make easy targets and I don't understand the competition to build the world's tallest buildings. I guess it's the mine is bigger than yours syndrome. I don't think I would want to work on the upper floors of either of those buildings. They always remind me of death traps.

22. I love these thngs
I hope they build the one in Chicago. I suspect it will be built because Alderman Natarus supports it. However, they will have to sell the condos before they break ground.

Also, Trump hates it so I'm for it.

I think the bottom one looks like a dried up piece of dog shit.

There's one going up in Shanghai (I think) that looks really cool too.
