AC is on full blast, every fan in the house is on full blast, and the house is still 82 degrees inside.

I am grateful that I live in the trees. It is at least 15 degrees cooler up here, compared to where I lived previously. Less blacktop, more trees.

We're supposed to have severe thunderstorms this evening, and then a cooling trend: Highs in the low to mid-80s, nightime lows in the 70s.

We have central A/C, but a wall unit in the addition we built. It quit two days ago. It is frigging sauna in there.
