Quinn has been more vocal than usual the past week or so too.

But, he eats his food, uses the litterbox, and is as active as ever, so I don't think he's actually sick. I think it's just the weather.

Back then, he loved to sleep on my bed and loved just cuddling up on my chest. Now he hardly lets me touch him.

They grow up so fast :(

As to the pictures . . . that's more a matter of taking a LOT of pictures and getting lucky with a tiny percentage :)

54. Yes I saw it and looked at it a long time because of the color

and composition, the posing and of course, that incredible puss face on that cat. What a mug! This is a marvelous photo. A while back, several months ago, the first time I saw Quinn in that kitten photo, I believe I mentioned you probably would want to enter these photos in contests or show your work professionally. You do have real professional talent... it so clear.

56. I need to get some more "stuff" before I try making money at it.

Right now I'm too dependent on natural light, etc. I need to invest in some good studio lighting and some good backdrops, etc.

I've thought about doing pet portraits and the like, but first I need to have all the equipment I need to do it right.

The pet portraits I have seen in magazines, etc., are nowhere near the quality you are doing. (They remind me of the standard high school graduation mug shot (yawn) for the standard yearbook, if you get my drift). I think you can be REALLY successful.

Here is her story:

When I returned home from Germany in 1996 I was cooking supper one evening and I heard this weak 'meow' at my back door. I turned around and there she was. She was so tiny and starving that her ribs were showing. I do not know if she was abandoned or if she ran away, but by the way she acted around people she was obviously abused by someone. I don't know why, but I was the only one she ever trusted. I fed her as much as she would eat, and as you can see, she gained weight. She was so small that she only weighed three and a half pounds when this photo was taken. I also found out over time that she was deaf. Koschka stopped eating and drinking in February 2001. I took her to the vet to find out what was wrong. The vet told me that she was old, as old as a stone, "literally off the chart". She was re-hydrated and lived another three months before passing away in April 2001. I can take relief that I improved her life for the last five years. She visits me from time to time by jumping on my bed in the middle of the night. May she rest in peace.
