What's The Most You Would Pay To See A Concert?
Assume it's someone you really admire and that it's someone you've always wanted to see perform live... at what point does a concert ticket become TOO expensive?

-- Allen

PS: And who is the performer that you'd pay so much to see?

2. I paid $500. to see Bruce Springsteen
at a small theater. It was a benefit.

For a regular show they are already too expensive.

3. No one should have to pay more than $50 to see a concert
but in this day and age of Ticketmaster, $50 is cheap. My dad saved all his ticket stubs from the 70's and early 80's (several hundred in all) and the average price was about $15-20. I'll never see as many shows as him unfortunately because there aren't many bands that I would spend upward of a hundred dollars to see.

I think the most expensive ticket I've purchased was the Rolling Stones for about $90. I would pay that much to see U2, Springsteen and McCartney...but that's about it.

4. Depends on the performer.
but I would pay $500 to see Springsteen, stones, pink floyd, the who, several others.

And, yesterday I paid $125 to see Hilary Duff (two tickets), but it was actually a pretty decent show if you can get past the screaming pre-pubescent girls.
