I'm sitting in a restaurant watching a fight outside the window.
Not a physical altercation just yet, but the situation looks very intense.

A young woman has been sitting nearby talking to her boyfriend - or soon to be ex-boyfriend - fairly loudly and intensely. Sounds like he's been very abusive. Her friend is now trying to force her off the phone and it is some serious drama going on out there.

Oh no - now friend is in the car crying.

DRAMA! Thanks for listening DU - I had to share this mini-drama with someone else!

2. Argument is still on going. One of those situations where they've
been outside with the car door open for about 15 minutes. It would suck to be in such a drama. Baby seat in the back makes the situation even worse IMO. Now there is apparently a kid involved.

There is a hospital across the street and I think one of the women was just seen there for having been battered by the boyfriend. That's what I picked up from their loud conversation anyway.

8. I don't think they were going to get violent with each other.
I think they were fighting because the abused woman was talking like she would reconcile with the cheating, abusive boyfriend.

They just took off. I hope she ends that shitty relationship and gets out for good.

5. I was in slow city traffic one day and we were crawling through
an intersection and there was a couple coming from the opposite direction on the cross walk. Traffic was slow, so I could watch them for several seconds. They were obviously poor, urbanites of minority status. From the minute I saw them, the woman was talking to the man fast and, it seemed, angrily. He was looking sorta away from her, like she wasn't there. Just as her voice rose and I could almost make out her words, he swung around and decked her. SMACK. And she dropped like a ton of bricks. He took off. I was almost past them when he did it and was a half block away by the time the shock wore off. I turned at the next possible corner and came back on the street they were crossing, but both were gone and I had to wait about 5 minutes to get back on the slow-moving street.

7. DRAMA!
That sucks. No need for violence.

My mini-drama just wrapped up. Abused chick hopped in the car with friend. Seems like they were fighting because abused chick was already talking like she was going to reconcile. I sure hope she doesn't.
