Who's used language CDs? Which work best in the car?
I will be spending a lot of time on the road and I want to make use of the time. I'd like to take some language lessons but there are so many CDs. I'd like to know who's used what type and which you think would work best in the car.

1. A lot of people like The Rosetta Stone
www.rosettastone.com

Some of my friends have used their CDs with success - most of them listening in the car. Good luck :hi:

2. I really don't think that any of them

will be able to teach your car a foreign language.

3. None that have
thick books that come with them. The Berlitz ones seem to be pretty decent. The thicker the book, the more you need to look at it and I can't condone reading and driving.

Maybe you should get XM or Sirius if you drive alot. I did and it keeps me sane. No accidental stumbling into Rush on a channel anymore.

4. I really like Michel Thomas
It's all audio--no writing at all.

The two "students" learning French are realllllly annoying, but overall the CDs are pretty good.

You'll surprise yourself.
