What's a good bittorrent client/program? Also, a question about sending...

Someone recommended BitTornado, but it seems kind of hokey and too basic.

The reason I'm looking for one is that I want to send my sister a video clip I have (it's too big for email I guess)--can I do it with bittorrent? She'd have to get a bitttorrent thingie too, right?

6. You like Bit Tornado though?
Maybe it just seems hokey on my hokey old machine.

i have never used another bit torrent client.
it seems to do exactly what it needs to do which is basically connect to torrents and download the files to where i specify. other than that, i don't really know what else one would need a bit torrent client to do.

2. Bittorent only works well
when multiple people are sending the same file. I would use an instant messaging program like the free www.aim.com

3. agreed
that would be the easiet thing to do.
transferring it via a messaging program would be a lot less hassle.

4. Thanks guys...didn't try that.
I've been trying to send it via email and it keeps freezing up on me. I thought it was the size of the file, but I'll try it in IM too.

5. i like azureus myself..
as for the file issue: I would probably use a Yahoo briefcase or something along that line. You could also archive the file using Winrar, splitting it into smaller pieces (1.44MB for instance) and emailing them one by one, or use an IM client as suggested by rawtribe.

7. Maybe a free server like...
http://www.yousendit.com/

There are others; this looks to be the only URL bookmarked.
