4. Nope. Totally atypical noise.
But there are no cops coming so maybe it's nothing.

(there is a prison about 4 blocks away anyway... maybe they were playing with gunpowder and it go boom... :shrug: )

5. You can see lightning and hear thunder from storms
up to 50 (I think thats the right number) miles away. You can be struck by lightning even if there isn't a cloud in your immediate sky area.
