3. She spoke at the College Democrats convention.
Right after we took that picture, we got hustled out of the room by the Secret Service. It was wild. :D

If she becomes President, you've got quite historic picture.

You guys looks thrilled!

I'd love to meet Hillary.

18. She's much different in person than on TV.
She looks much better, and she's incredibly nice. Much more liberal sounding in a setting like this one, too. She's not my first choice for President, but I sure would vote for her!

2. great pics!
I haven't been to DC since I was a senior in high school. The WWII memorial wasn't finished yet but judging by the pics it looks awesome. Also isn't the Kennedy grave just the most stunning view of the city? A very fitting resting place IMHO

Now I want to go back...

11. I've got a picture that makes Kennedy's sightline look like shit.
This is from the grave of Pierre Charles L'Enfant, the planner of Washington, DC, just up the hill from JFK and RFK:

5. They were having their national jamboree.
And there were about 40,000 of them in the city and surrounding vicinity. We got locked out of a couple Smithsonian museums because the place was overrun with Boy Scouts. Every time we walked out of the hotel, there were always some out there, usually about 100 of them at a time. We became quite frustrated. :D

6. Beautiful!
Makes me really mad to see such a beautiful place being run by a bunch of filthy cretons...

Congrats on the Hilary pic.

I have that Wrigley Field shirt! Got it right before I moved to Austin, so I don't see it often.

19. Well, I had to give some representation.
Our Illinois delegation was abysmally small, so I had to do something. :D

8. Nice pix. Seems you hit all the right places. I spent 3 months in
downtown DC way back in the 1970's. (Back when you just got in line to visit the Capitol and there weren't snipers on the roof of the WH.)

21. Yeah, I remember when you could just walk into the Capitol.
On my last visit eight years ago, I just walked into the area where they gave tours. That was it!

22. I was struck by that too.
The first time I saw it, I was like "is this it?" But I did read somewhere that he wanted something rather simple.

14. Beautiful pictures,
I really miss living on the east coast! At least my kids grew up there, and we made regular trips to D.C.

23. East Coast rocks.
I've been to Baltimore, Boston, and DC, and between them all, they're the most fun I've ever had.
