Texas Bar Exam is OVER!!!!!!!!!!

I must say it was pretty grueling. I really don't see how I could POSSIBLY have passed, but I have to wait until November 4th to find out. On a few essays I literally had NO IDEA, so I made something up. I heard other people saying the same thing about the same questions, so I don't feel so stupid. One thing I was happy about; I got a guardianship question instead of trusts!!!!! I was in court for a guardianship proceeding in my Elder Law Clinic in Pittsburgh, so I more than halfway knew what I was talking about on that one, at least. At least I answered every subpart of every question and every question on the MBE, and I can honestly say I gave my best effort to every question. That's all a body can do. If it wasn't good enough, I'll have another go in February.

Thanks to those who gave their encouragement! Now I'm off to Toronto to visit Mr. DTBK's niece and her family for the weekend. After three long years of hard work, I can FINALLY enjoy my life (and start the new Harry Potter)!! Ta-ta!

Good luck. When I took the NY exam years ago, the first day was the local portion of the exam.I felt terrible. The next day was the multistate. I knew I had done much better on that. I was so scared to open the envelope when it came but when it did, I saw I passed. Yippee! I hope you feel the same kind of relief I did.
