Why do people fall absolutely in love with posts from the admin?

I swear Skinner can make a post saying "Cabana, bana, bo, banana" and he gets like 50 recommendations, flowers, people saying "We love you skinner!", or "You are sooooooooo right Skinner, I love your hair!". It's like his posts are sign from god.

He got about as many as the person who first posted the story, and most of the ones in Skinner's were having fun at his expense. Of course if someone else or than the owner of the site would have posted the Onion story today, they would have had a few more negative comments. But calling out the administrator of this site isn't the smartest thing to do in my opinion.
