Do some nights just not lend themselves to copycat posts?

Some nights, every thread title begs a spoof, and other nights you can stare and stare and nothing works.

There were about 40 copycats that one thread spawned.

I had to take a friend out for her birthday...I can't believe I missed the Guttenberg posts. I don't think anyone has even mentioned his name since Police Academy 4 came out! Damn, damn, damn!

4. Interesting question, jobycom...

I think that people who do copycat threads must have a different view on posting than I do...I would never copycat. I waited a long time to post my first thread, and I thought hard about what to write about. I bookmarked it, as I do all my own threads...

It isn't exactly serious business for me, but on the other hand, I'm not into extreme frivolity, either. I want people to respond as well; I'm not sure how well the copycat threads do.

Very serious, always in GD, very polite. The Lounge was the place where the frivilous people hung out, and I was NOT going to be one of them.

That was a long time ago. I don't think I've made a serious post since the 2004 "election." :-)
