What is the best thing for dry lips?
I've tried Vaseline Lip Therapy and I think they changed the ingredients. It doesn't work like it used to.

Tonight, I got some Neosporin Lip Therapy and it seems to be better.

How is that Bee's Wax stuff?

2. More fluid intake, fruits and veggies, less booze and junk food.
Yeah, like I'd listen to that, too!

Can't help, sorry. Couldn't miss the chance to be a smart-ass though. Go figure.

10. Aveda.
As with all of their products it is expensive but will last forever because it works, it really does work. I swear by their hand relief. It lasts me forever though so I would bet it almost ends up the same as using other stuff over and over and getting no change.

Edited on Sat Jul-30-05 12:12 AM by rocknation
The first time I went skiing in the Rockies, my Northeastern lips got so chapped I was in PAIN. I went straight into the lodge and said, "No, not the Chapstick--I need MEDICINE!!!"

On edit: Also, you may not be hydrating enough. Drink more water.

17. I use Vichy Lip Cream
It's around $14, but it lasts me at least a year, as you only need a wee bit. The waxy stuff never did anything for me, but this stuff works great.

24. nothing

For a while i was developing a dependency to lip balms. Your lips just keep getting drier and drier because your body thinks that you are producing enough oil. .

Edited on Sat Jul-30-05 12:40 PM by youthere
It's actually a nipple cream for nursing mothers and is found in the baby dept. It's pure lanolin..all natural, very thick, yellowish and sticky but they will be healed overnight. It's kind of expensive, but trust me, a dab'll do you, and you can use it to heal cuts and scrapes as well. It's awesome-and it lasts a LOOOOONG time.

28. Blistex and/or Carmex

Both work quite well for me in the winter, which is when I have problems with chapped lips.
