6. Concordia
Moorhead MN

dont worry if none of these places sound familiar to you. its all just brokendown nowhere to me. and really isnt too suitable to be much more than farmland, its a wonder we even have cities out here.

sorry, im a bit jaded on my midwestern roots these days.

8. Concordia offered me a wrestling scholarship, I almost went there
Small world. :)

I'm a farm hick from Cut Bank, Montana, I know exactly what you mean. I used to be jaded too, but now I see it in a little bit different light. Mainly because of my family and friends etc. Good people, but there just isn't much in those places for a young person or a struggling family etc. No need to be sorry, I know the score. My ex used to go to college in Minnesota too. ST. Olaf's College.

11. yup Montanan is right
A lot of people from my hometown go to Concordia. Well, maybe not a lot but some do. If you ever run into anybody from there they'll probably know either me or my brothers. Pretty much everybody knows each other where I'm from.

2. I've been up for 24 hours, gotten semi-toasted, gotten semi-sober
and shot a friend's band's gig. I'm still not tired.

I feel for you. (I usually only get 3-4 hours of sleep a night any more)

2-4... i havent gotten a good night's sleep consistantly in years. but i refuse to take meds for it, dont like the unnatural sleep. so i suppose i dont have much liscense to complain.

but in the last month, its been alot less sleep, like an hour and a half - 3ish hours... damn this girl-induced insomnia.

7. I thought 3-4 hours a night was bad...
I CAN'T take meds (the FAA really frowns on it), but I'm actually quite functional. I just occasionally don't seem to have a lot of energy.

What's this about "girl-induced"?

heartbreak earlier in the summer to compound the problem 3 deaths in my life (2 of them highschool friends' suicides). its been a stressful summer, to say the least. and that was just june...

sleep is always the last thing to stablize for me after times like these. but my ex leaving me was the thing that really busted me up. everything else was just icing on the giant crapcake that was june. most everything but sleep is fine for me now...

its not like im sleeping during the day, just driving is the devil to me when im tired. i fall victim to highway hypnosis really easily.
