Sunscreen over foundation or the other way around

We are considering being outside all day. I haven't really been out for more than a couple hours at a time this summer. The one day that we did, I skipped the make up and just put sunscreen on.
I would like to wear make up today. The foundation says that it has 10 spf. While that might be enough protection for day to day wear, it is not enough protection for me for being out all day this time of year. I don't like getting burned and being my age, I have started to be more concerned about sun damage prematurely aging my skin.
Do I put the sunscreeem on first and then the foundation or the other way around? It seems like that it would move around either way.

1. Why are you wearing foundation?

I know, I know. I used to feel nekkid without it. I'd just go for waterproof mascara, a little blusher, lipstick and sunscreen. :shrug:

(Estee Lauder makes a foundation with sunscreen, though.)

2. I would think the sunscreen first acting like a moisturizer and then the

foundation making an extra sunscreen.

3. Go for both - tinted sunscreen

When I wanna be outdoors I use a tinted sunscreen. It works really well and I don't feel like I'm not wearing any makeup.

Given that, sunscreen then foundation.

4. In that situation I would probably mix them together and apply

all at once. But I'm sort of make-up challenged, so you may not want to take my advice.

"Moisturizer FIRST.
Most moisturizers have sunscreen.
Look for one with SPF 15. Any higher doesn't do any more for you.
THEN foundation."
