What a screwed up day.
My real estate listing for a house I have in Cleveland (I live in Florida) was set to expire tomorrow. I told the agent that I was going to try to sell it myself, and drop the price. She went over this morning to remove the lock box, and drop off the keys.

I have an ad running in the paper starting tomorrow, and was planning on flying up there on the 10th to show it.

She called to say a water pipe had burst in the upstairs bathroom and water was every where, and the neighbor said the last time she checked it, was 10 days ago, and everything was fine then. So the water could have been running as long as 9 days. She said every floor in the place looked like a mogul ski slope.

So I've spent the morning on the phone with claims offices, emergency repair people, airlines, hotels, neighbors etc. Now, it's time to visit the liquor store.

1. oh man, that's awful....
I'd suggest that one bright side is that Cleveland is beautiful this time of year, but, well.... I'm sorry.
