Worst earworm ever?
I think it's one of the twin towers of 70's mediocrity, Andy Kim's "Rock Me Gently" or King Harvest's "Dancing in the Moonlight." However, the most pernicious (meaning not necessarily bad, but definitely ineradicable) is at least for me that Caddyshack theme by Kenny Loggins with the Michael McDonald backing vocals: "I'm Alright"

Yours?

By the way, this is all Adenoid_Hynkel's fault. (Earlier thread on most annoying song)

1. Anything Phil Collins
Cause they are all pretty much the same song and are designed to be earworms above music. :scared: I fear to name a title lest it stick in my head.

In the Air Tonight - don't even start thinking about that song!

2. "Dancing In the Moonlight" makes me ill
Love the Caddyshack theme though.

I don't mean to offend some people here who love the guy, but what really sticks in my head like a big ball of razor wire is just about anything by Van Morrison. :scared:

15. It does so for all right-thinking people. Somebody actually covered it
at some point for reasons that are totally beyond me.

I like all Van's tunes except "Moondance," but agree that they tend to be insanely catchy and almost ineradicable once you get them in your head.

14. '82 in Britain, '83 here, I thought
but maybe the damned thing was a hit over here the whole year and I was mistaken all this time that it followed me home. Anyway, '82-'83 was my junior year abroad.
