Wandering Moose Takes to Mini - Golf Course

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) -- A yearling moose wandering through town has decided to stay a while to enjoy the shade and water of a miniature golf course.

''He was headed somewhere when he came in here. We're hoping that he takes a rest and one of these evenings returns to his journey,'' state Game Warden Roger Bredehoft said Friday.

Laramie sits in a wildlife corridor between the Laramie and Medicine Bow ranges, and big game frequently are seen in the city, he said. While antelope and deer are common, moose are less often seen
