Poll question: Favorite Paul?
Edited on Sat Jul-30-05 05:25 PM by undisclosedlocation
On the whole, it always seems disrespectful to put somebody I admire and mourn for on such a silly poll, but to leave Sen. Wellstone off would be unfair to the people who want to vote for him. Rest assured that I mean no disrespect.

Some other Pauls: Anka, Rodgers, Carrack, Prudhomme, Noel Paul Stookey, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Bunyan, Pope Paul VI, Alexandra Paul, Klee, Rodriguez, Winchell (who probably should be on the poll), Williams, Pierce, Gauguin, Hackett of course, Robeson

Did you know that Paul Harvey is the Voice of the New Millennium? Me neither! Per Google, it's the tagline of his website. (No, I didn't follow the link to verify.)

As ever, I'll try to be back around within the hour to change out non-vote-getters and add Other. No guarantees though; it's thunderstormy here.

Edit: Ok, Weller and Westerberg off in favor of Lynde and Giamatti. Sorry Paul Mooney, and potential Weller/ Westerberg voters. Added Other.

3. It's a tie between Paul Wellstone and Paul Simon (the senator)
Paul Wellstone is one of my heroes...but so was Senator Paul Simon. ( was proud to have him as my Senator. Both good, principled, decent liberals and good Democrats.

Beautiful building.

Edit for image:

14. I went there in 92.
It is awesome, truly awesome, the things men are capable of. I think it is ashamed that we don't make too many things to last like this was made, and remade after the fire.

The ceiling is a sight to behold!

Considering how Giamatti has done, I probably should have put them on instead. Oh well.

22. Definitely, Les Paul, not so much
for the Gibson guitar, but the man and his invention and how it changed the face of modern music. I mean we wouldn't have a lot of the best stuff without the fact that he jammed a record player needle into the hole of an acoustic guitar and then invented the electric guitar. I thank him for that. And I want his little one of a kind gadget on his guitar that lets him play a part and then play it back and play along to it, up to 4 parts at once.

Paul Wellstone was really great too.
