I generally post in the other forums and find myself coming here when it gets to heated or when I just need a little laugh or love. I have yet to be rejected, though I am sure that some of my posts along the way may have bothered some of the "regulars" here. I think the lounge "regulars" tend to actually try to live the concept of "live and let live". That some of them may have been hurt or angered and now sarcastically refer to the insults by making light of the transgressors is just an example of how they deal with things.

If the tone of the lounge has bothered you for some time now, why do you bother? There are other clubs on the block. Find a new one or stay out when the crowd is too rowdy or is not the crowd you like.

Whether people deny it or not, there is a great deal of mean-spiritedness here sometimes. However, much more often it is a wonderful place.

Having fun is really nice, but it shouldn't be at the expense of other posters. What we're discussing in this particular post is about people who have been banned, but I've seen it happen with people who haven't been banned also. What I've seen is people who are considered to be popular ganging up on one or two other posters about things that absolutely didn't warrant anything like what they were put through.
