5. Yes, I have.
My ex-husband held me hostage for seven hours. Broke several ribs, stabbed me, and raped me.

9. He was arrested for it.
While he was in jail, I left Texas. Thank god for my father and the Rusk County, Texas sheriff's department. They got me out of there safely.

I had to have stitches, and still have a scar. What did it feel like? Just like any other wound, why do you think being stabbed is something special?

13. stabbed in the chest
surprisingly, it never hurt..i was young working on foreign going freighters and venturing places even angels fear to tred (i guess, anyway) my lung collapsed and the main hurt was when they shoved a tube in to pump air....they used a bike pump ;)

14. my back is like a pincushion
anymore, it feels pretty much normal to get stabbed there

I also have one giant stab wound in my upper left chest

It felt like being impaled on a red hot wrought iron spike at the time it happened. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't even understand what was happening--there was nothing in my experience or my vocabulary to lend the slightest context for what i was feeling. Now it feels like a hissing black vacuum slowly sucking every last shred of my life into the void.

29. almost had my nose chopped off
i was putting a chopper and cutting board away on a shelf above my head, and the chopper slipped off and hit me, blade side down, right on the bridge of the nose.

i had to go to the ER, and because there wasn't enough skin there to suture, they glued to wound shut. so now i got this goofy scar across my nose-- but it didn't hurt

33. Surgically.
My kids had huge heads and despite my "childbearing hips", my pelvic inlet is smallish, henceforth long labors and subsequent cesareans. I was awake, but under anesthesia.

Mainly I felt like I was going to pass out when my blood pressure dropped to 50/25 the last because of how my body reacts to anesthesia. Oh, and the first time, the anesthesia didn't work completely, so I didn't feel my abdomen being cut into, but somehow I felt my uterus being cut. Kind of hurts. A lot. Recovery's a bitch too.
