I love deer but loathe the though of deer ticks and lyme disease and really resent how that threat has changed my view of them.

Still they inspire great awe though.

4. Actually they're in a little "deer forest" section of a privately owned

zoo in Mendon, Mass.

Most of the deer are very tame and will walk right up to people to be hand fed :).

These ones were eating handfulls of corn that a little girl was tossing to them. The kids are very cute when they feed the deer, but I'd probably get arrested if I shot pictures of the kids :).

I am going to take pictures of some buffalo nearby. There is a ranch near me that rasies them.
