1. Went to the reading room in Boston years ago
as part of tour. There's this really neat room where you go inside a globe (Maparium), and if you stnad at one end, and someone is at other end of the walk through, you can whisper and be heard very clearly

4. That looks like an interesting place.
We were just in Boston and might have checked that out!

2. I used to hang out in their reading rooms
and read The Christian Science Monitor. It's a good paper. My ex-wife was raised Christian Science. Every time she took an aspirin for a headache, I'd rag her about it. (Which might explain why she's my EX-wife.)

Khash.

3. I was raised Christian Scientist.
My dad was a Christian Scientist and my mother was Jewish. I'm a hypochondriac, but I can't get sick.

(Ha-cha-cha!)

Seriously, the whole thing kind of fell apart for me when my grandmother, a practitioner in the church, tried to heal her own broken hip. Let's just say it left me a bit...jaded.
