3. there is more wit and more interesting conversation

especially on interesting and "left of center" topics (and I don't just mean politically).

The daytime crowd is more placid, homogeneous, nanny-ish, and less tolerant.

6. Yeah, it certainly is a different vibe.

I usually can't do the late night thing because I get up really early, but I love trying to pull all nighters on the weekend. (I went until after 2:00am last night, and then my eyes gave out.)
