There is no civility left in this world anymore!
And I must say, it's really getting to me.

What is wrong with people?

People have no manners, no patience, think they know everything when really they don't...errr.

I'm babbling but I don't care. :(

So much for trying to have a nice sunday! :(

1. There's some civility here.
Some. :)

Sorry you had a bad Sunday. I managed to have a good Sunday because I didn't leave the house.

2. I'll be okay.....
just sometimes the rudeness and stupidity of **some** people gets to me.

And it makes me so irritated. More so than usual. ARG!!

I'm back home now, so I'll relax. :) Or try to. :)

6. On the way home, ran into this weird guy on the bus
He was offended and said something to me about being in his way (I wasn't, I was out of his way)

I sat down next to him and let him have it.

"Did your parents ever bother to teach you how to say excuse me? Don't you know anything about manners?"

And when he said well you were in my way, I told him to shut his mouth and don't bother addressing me.

Man, I was pissed off. It was like I was running into one person after another and I just blew.

:) I'm so irritated lately.

4. I mean, earlier today, I had some asshole bitch in the left lane
Edited on Sun Jul-31-05 05:24 PM by Rabrrrrrr
decide that she needed to speed to fucking 400 miles an hour in order to swerve right in front of me (I was in the right lane, and there was a car barely millimeters ahead of her in her lane), so she could make an immediate right bitch turn.

But, there was NO ONE behind for at least a 1/4 mile or more - she could just as easily have slowed down a tad and made the turn at the same time.

10. Fuck Krispy Kreme. Decent people don't give other people Krispy Kreme's
unless they're straight out of the cooker.

Non-hot Krispy Kremes fucking suck. Worst donuts ever.

7. When I run across people
like that, I just walk away and remind myself that I'm not related to them and I don't have to have Thanksgiving dinner with them. Hopefully, I'll never run into them again.

13. Running into rude people is one of the few pleasures I have...
outside of my insulated, "by invitation only" world. I take great pleasure in embarrassing them, very loudly, in public. Amerikans are really easy 'cause they're terrified of everything, and the rude ones are so used to people letting them get away with it, they're shocked into a kind of paralysis.

14. blame it on talk radio
you might think I'm joking, but I'm not

take a look at the world pre-Lush and pre-RW talk radio and then take a look post-Lush

since the right wingers started broadcasting their hate, people's manners have gone to hell

people like Ann Coulter is prime example--she's a hateful bitch and 20 years ago, her behavior would have been so out of the mainstream but today, she's considered a bit tame

16. This is the official holiday weekend for Assholes.
Today is National Asshole Day. It seems on certain days, more assholes are out than others. The past couple days have been those kind of days!

Friday, I couldn't get out of my condo complex without 2 other drivers trying to pull in front of me at the same damned intersection from opposite sides.

Don't forget the guy who leaves 8 car lengths in front of him when proceeding through a green light with a line of cars behind him, then after the light has been yellow decides, eh, maybe now is the time to accelerate. Then you get stuck at the light, and about 6 other cars behind you that could have made it through had the guy had half a brain in his head that was stuck up his ass.

18. It is like the non-assholes are trying their darndest to make up
for the assholes. Yesterday, while out in driving I came across about 15 assholes. Then, going into Olive Garden, a lady paused a second to hold the door open. This is the kind of stuff I do, if it is only going to take a second, I think it is just the polite thing to do not to let the door slam in somebody's face. Needless to say, on the way out, walking behind other ladies walking out, the lady just let the door go. Just half a second, or an extra push on the door would have been all it took not to have the door close. Too much effort.

And, don't get me started on people who don't say thank you, or give a nod or wave when you let them in traffic.

19. there is even a song especially for assholes
Called the I-95 song (or the asshole song)

"Were you born an asshole or did you work at it your whole life? Either way you're an asshole tonight"

I don't know who wrote it but Jimmy Buffett has sung it.
