What more do you need?

How about the conduct brochure from "Refuge", a rehab centre run by the "Love in Action Ministry"? "Thong style underware is prohibited." "No access to malls of any kind."

Go buy it, it's hilarious.

1. Harper's does great work on exposing the fundies

the two articles several months ago titled "Soldiers of Christ" were both excellent. I haven't read the newest issue but plan to do so.

I mean, I usually enjoy Harper's, but the August issue completely kicked ass. I read it on a flight from DFW to SFO last Thursday night, and it kept me quite happily occupied for much of the flight.

Meanwhile, while I'm reading McKibben's article on American Xian Perversity, the guy sitting by the window is reading some chapter about Sin in a Billy Graham book. Such irony.
