5. you forgot "Working for the Weekend"
not only is it the greatest song ever, it's got the best cowbell intro ever! Aw, what the hell, let's go there right now:

Everyone's watchin' to see what you will do
Everyone's lookin' at you, Oh
Everyone's wonderin' will you come out tonight
Everyone's tryin' to get it right, get it right

Everybody's workin' for the weekend
Everybody wants a new romance
Everybody's goin' off the deep end
Everybody needs a second chance, Oh

You want a piece of my heart
you better start from the start
you wanna be in the show
c'mon baby let's go

Everyone's lookin' to see if it was you
Everyone wants you to come through
Everyone's hopin' it'll all work out
Everyone's waiting to hold you out

Everybody's workin' for the weekend
Everybody wants a new romance, hey yeah
Everybody's goin' off the deep end
Everybody needs a second chance, Oh

You want a piece of my heart
you better start from the start
you wanna be in the show
c'mon baby let's go

Hey

You want a piece of my heart
you better start from the start
you wanna be in the show
c'mon baby let's go

You want a piece of my heart
you better start from the start
you wanna be in the show
c'mon baby let's go

7. Cowbell is an accent; more than a couple of whacks is excessive
I know there's idiots out there who'd ride the fucking thing all through the song, but it's like any of your other accent instruments: a little is good, too much is too damn much. No one would ride a splash cymbal all through the song, and no one SHOULD ride his cowbell.

Good use of cowbell: Accept's Losing More Than You Ever Had

Bad use of cowbell: "VH1 Behind the Music: Blue Oyster Cult"
