There's a guy at work who always backs me up and helps me in so many ways - including covering my butt more than once.

To show my appreciation, I gave him a very nice bottle of tequila, his drink of choice, once, but now that's been done and I want to get him something different. I don't want to send flowers. I don't know how to pick cigars.

Any ideas?

Doesn't have to be expensive. I've bought decent fountain pens for less than $50, and they're sort of my "old standby" for business colleagues' birthdays, etc.
