Ummmm...not to nitpick, but isn't it YOUR JOB to find interesting musicians and bring them to the reader? Meh...;)

An entire city of songwriters, out to impress other songwriters.

And the music press there is just as lame. I knew a guy who ran/edited the Nashville Scene's music review section. He was persona non grata around the paper because of the barrage of hate mail/death threats that the Scene would receive after giving Christian Rock bands negative reviews.

Anyhow, dude....good interview. I liked how you explained that getting publicity is just a matter of knowing the right people. Some people think that if you're good enough, you'll get famous...it ain't so.

he did a good job for us, a group of us coauthored a book together. He might be around your area too now. I'll see if he's still doing publicity, if he is I'll hook him up with you if you want. Couldn't hurt to talk things over I suppose. I know he was branching out doing publicity for pretty much anything last time I heard.
